Clarification Deadline-1/26/2021 4:00 PM A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The successful Bidder shall substantially complete the project within 90 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Hermitage Municipal Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. This section specifies administrative and procedural requirements for Project closeout, including but not limited to: 1. Closeout procedures 2. Final cleaning. 3. Adjusting. 4. Project record documents. 5. Spare parts and maintenance materials. 6. Repair of the Work
