The park area to be developed is approximately 3 acres in size. The firm selected for this project will provide preliminary and final design services, and cost estimates for the development of the playscape and parking lot. As of January 4, 2021, the project is in design. A construction document completion timeline is scheduled for February 2021. A tentative bid schedule for contractors is scheduled for Spring of 2021. Construction is slated to begin May of 2021. However, the firm date has not been disclosed. As of September 14, 2023, no rebid information available
