Site work for a water / sewer project in Baytown, Texas. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Improve the drainage in the Goose Creek section of the City by up sizing the storm sewer system along James Street, 1st Street, 2nd Street, 4th Street, 7th Street, Alexander Drive, 10th Street, Danubina Street, Hunnicutt Street, Lobit Street, James Street Wright Boulevard, and Texas Avenue. This area of the City tends to flood during most storm events and has been identified as a critical storm sewer system. This drainage improvement project will help to facilitate the movement of storm water from the streets and neighborhoods toward Cedar Bayou. The project is included in the city's Capital Improvement Program 2023-2027 (CIP). As of January 2023, design is underway and is pending grant funding. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
