Demolition, site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Masury, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of constructing new facilities, including but not limited to, the following: Influent Pumping Station, Equalization Basin, UV Disinfection Facility, and Grit Removal Facility, and the associated process and underground piping improvements. The Work shall also include modifications to existing facilities, electrical power and distribution improvements, and miscellaneous site improvements, including pavement replacement, lawn restoration and fencing. Demolition of existing facilities required for the proposed improvements shall include hazardous and regulated materials management and removal.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Arcadis U.S., Inc., 222 South Main Street, Suite 200, Akron, Ohio 44308. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office by appointment only (due to Covid-19) on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the agent of the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer located at 842 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna, Ohio 44473, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., local time. The cost of each set of bid documents is $600.00 which includes project manuals, drawings and two future addenda. This cost does not include shipping of the original bid documents but does include the cost for shipping of two addenda. Cost for shipping expenses of the original bid documents would be added to the listed fee above. Bidding documents are sold as complete sets; no partial sets can be purchased. No refund will be allowed for the return of any bidding documents at any time. After securing the printed copies, at bidder's choice, electronic copies can be furnished for use by the bidders. PLEASE FAX OR EMAIL YOUR REQUESTS PRIOR TO PURCHASE. You will be notified when your documents are ready for pick-up. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the agent of the Issuing Office. The Offices of the Owner or the Engineer will NOT have any bidding documents available for sale. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.Bids shall be subject to the conditions that the right is reserved to hold Bids for a period not longer than sixty (60) days after date of Bid Opening and/or to award the Contract at any time during said period. The successful Bidder will be required to execute the Contract within ten (10) days after the award of the Work to him/her, and he/she shall furnish acceptable Bond or Surety, if not filed previously to the satisfaction of Trumbull County for the faithful performance of said Contract in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid. In case of failure to execute the Contract as stated or to furnish Bond and/or Surety, the Bidder shall be considered to have abandoned the Contract and is then liable for the difference between his/her Bid and the next lowest Bid, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the amount Bid. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on Public Improvement Projects in Trumbull County, Ohio as established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. This shall occur regardless of any contractual relationship which may be said to exist between the CONTRACTOR or any Subcontractor and such employee. Attention is also called to the fact that a Non-Collusion Affidavit must be signed by the Bidder and that the Successful Bidder must sign a statement concerning Delinquent Personal Property Taxes in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042.Attention is also directed to all Bidders that Trumbull County adopted a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy on September 7, 2016, and the terms of this Policy also apply to any Contractor[s] directly reimbursed for services through the County. A copy of the Policy is part of the Bidding.Documents, and each Bid must he accompanied by a "Sign-Off Sheet" duly signed by the Bidder thereof. Attention is also directed to all Bidders that a signed Safety Statement Affidavit must be submitted as part of the Bid. The Contract Times will commence running as indicated in the General Conditions. Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement.
