**Project will be awarded on 11/24/2020** Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for constructing Water Line Improvements to serve Northgate & Northgate 4th Additions Phase 4A tied with Sanitary Sewer Improvements to serve Northgate & Northgate 4th Additions Phase 4 tied with Stormwater Drain #309 to serve Northgate 3rd & Northgate 4th Additions Phase 2 tied with Stormwater Sewer #743 Improvements to serve Northgate 3rd Addition will be received. Note: Bidder shall affix the following project number to the bid envelope E0081 Attention all bidders: a bid bond is required prior to bid opening. See section 102.3 of the City of Wichita standard specifications for further information. Bidders are advised to contact the office of the city engineer (316-268-4501) should they have any questions or concerns about the plans, special or supplemental provisions, minority status, or the proper preparation of the bid document. The bid form shall be prepared using prices per bid items, unless otherwise noted. The City of Wichita's Standard Specifications are required provisions for the furnishing of all materials and doing all work to complete the above referenced project, and are hereby made a part of these provisions as if fully set forth herein. Said Standard Specifications shall control except as modified by the following Special Provisions. Start Date. The work order on this project shall be issued 20 (twenty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for this project has been awarded to the successful bidder. Working Days/Completion Date: The work on this project shall be completed within 80 (eighty) total for all 4 projects with a benchmark set to have the sewer, water, storm sewer, and grading completed in the first 40 working days for: Lots 56-71, Blk C; Lots 19-29, Blk D; Lots 31-38, Blk D, all in Northgate Addition, and Lot 1, Blk C and Lots 19-22, Blk A, all in Northgate 4th Addition , Working days from date of beginning work and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications, once the work order is issued. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed.
