Delaware Township is proposing to repair the existing bridge located along Log & Twig Road, approximately 1,500 feet west its intersection with Milford Road (S.R. 2001). The repairs include providing guiderail end treatments and repairing a spall to Beam #8. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/20/2020 4:30 PM Delaware Township is proposing to repair the existing bridge located along Log & Twig Road, approximately 1,500 feet west its intersection with Milford Road (S.R. 2001). The existing bridge provides vehicular access across Hornbecks Creek. In accordance with the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, the project site is located within Zone A and within the 100-year floodplain. No wetlands exist within the project site. The repairs include providing guiderail end treatments and repairing a spall to Beam #8. A GP-11 has been obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for this work. All impacts to Hornbecks Creek that are associated with this project will be temporary. Areas of disturbance will include only those areas required for the work to be performed in regard to the proposed repairs. The limit of disturbance is approximately 0.10 acres. All areas of disturbance are temporary and will be stabilized immediately and/or returned to its pre-existing condition. A pre-construction meeting with the Contractor and Township Engineer is required prior to the start of work. All work shall be completed in the order as stated in the construction sequence.
