Renovation of a municipal facility in Antioch, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work shall generally consist of interior remodeling of existing office spaces on the first and third floor of Antioch City Hall. Additional work shall include, but not be limited to demolition and reconstruction of the first floor public restrooms; refinishing of the two stairwell towers, including new rubber treads, flooring, paint and light fixtures; update the entry hall with new wood ceiling, paint, flooring, and lighting; cosmetic and minor reconfiguration of office spaces requiring new glass walls and doors; minor demolition and building of partitions for new doors. The reconfigured office spaces will receive new suspended acoustical ceiling system and relocation of existing mechanical registers as necessary. All spaces will receive new flooring, rubber base, and require patching and painting of existing and new partitions. This Capital Improvement Project Consists,in General,of Furnishing All Permits,materials,labor,tools,supplies,equipment,transportation and Superntendence Necessary to Remodel Existing Interior Office Space on the First Floor and Third Floor of Antioch City Hall. Bids Shalll Be Submitted on the Citys Bid Forms Include in the Contract Documents,plainly Endorsed With Bidders Name Together With Signed Acknowledgement of Any and All Addenda.bid Form Shall Be Securely Sealed in a Suitable Envelop Marked With the Name and Address of the Bidder, and Marked in Capital Letters on the Front and Back of the Envelop. Whether Mailed or Personally Delivered,all Bids Shall Be Addressed to the Office of the City Clerk City of Antoich. P.o. Box 200 H Street, Antoich,california 94531-5007.late Bids Will Be Returned Un Opened. No Late Bids Will Be Accepted. Bidders Bond or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit,in an Amount Equal to at Least Ten Percent(10%) of the Bidders Total Bid Price. The City Intends to Award the Contract to the Lowest Responsive ,responsible Bidder Based on the Total Bid Price. Bids Will Be Examined and Repiorted to the City Counsil of Antioch Within Sixty (60) Days of the Bid Opening.the City Counsil Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Waive Any Irregularities or Informalities in Any Bid or in the Bidding Procedure. Performance Bond and Payment Bond,both in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Bid Price. All Question Prior to Award of the Contract Shall Be Directed to the Attention of Public Works Director via Email at Cip@antiochca.gov. The Deadline for Submissions of Question and Clarification Concerning the Contract Document is December 1, 2020. Only Signed Addenda Issued by the City of Antioch Are Binding.
