This project location is on Valencia Road from Kolb to Houghton (in the range of 3 miles). The project will consist of constructing Traffic signals, street lighting, concrete curbs, raised concrete medians, and six lanes of paved roadway with dedicated left turn lanes, and multimodal path. Question Submission Deadline:July 12, 2024, 2:00pm QUESTIONS SHALL BE DIRECTED TO: Maritza Felix (520) 837-4107 maritza.felix@tucsonaz.gov Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid bond issued by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Arizona and acceptable to the City, or by a certified check or cashier's check on a bank doing business in the City of Tucson, payable to the City of Tucson, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid (including any alternates) as stated in the Proposal, as a guarantee that the Successful Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract to perform the Work in the manner and form required by the Contract Documents, and will the furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds. Liquidated damages shall be in the amount of $2500.00for each calendar day of delay. The City of Tucson project/contract number and project description shall be noted on the certificate of insurance. The City of Tucson reserves the right to require complete copies of all insurance policies required by this Contract at any time. Addendum #1-#5 have been issued as of 7-23-2024.
