Last Day for RFP Questions 2/17/21 5:00 p.m. SFRTA (the operator of the Tri-Rail commuter rail service) is seeking a Design-Build Contractor for its new Northern Layover and Light Maintenance Facility, to be located in Palm Beach County directly north of the Mangonia Park Tri-Rail Station, in order to accommodate current operations and projected growth of the Tri-Rail service in South Florida. The Project is comprised of a complete scope of work to construct a 7,680 SF pre-engineered Crew Building, and an 11,100 SF pre-engineered combination Service & Inspection Building, Train Wash Building, Compressor Building (building structure only) and Fire Pump Building (building structure only). Sitework will not be part of this scope of work. Special Terms and Conditions of the project will include, but not be limited to: 1. Goals for Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) 2. Buy America provisions 3. Davis-Bacon wage scales 4. Liquidated Damages of $9,673.00 per day. Refer to Section 3.4 of the RFP for more information. 5. e-Verify 6.
