Renovation of an educational facility in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A brief description of work in the project follows: removal and replacement of existing aluminum windows with energy efficient commercial grade aluminum windows and mini blinds. The Owner anticipates awarding the contract as soon as possible in order to expedite fabrication of window units to be ready to begin the replacement process on Monday June 7, 2021 to be achieve substantial completion by Monday August 2, 2021. GCS policy requires ALL visitors to wear appropriate face coverings at all times while on GCS property. Every visitor will be logged in every day to include a negative temperature check with date and time of arrival. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
