As of 9/30/2022, this project has been awarded to Tejas Premier Building Contractor, Inc. for $5,908,224.92. The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to modernize the Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG) New Braunfels Readiness Center (RC) facility located at 2253 South I-35 Frontage Road, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. The project includes but is not limited to the mitigation of life safety and code-related deficiencies while simultaneously improving mission capabilities. Interior building improvements include finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire suppression, fire alarm, IT/telecom trades, and hazardous materials abatement. Exterior building improvements include a new egress stairway, roof repair, new and refurbished glazing, new building signage, civil site modifications, parking lot renovations, new water fire suppression line, new electrical primary, and fence modifications The total estimated cost of this project is $4,400,000.00. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
