Renovation of a water / sewer project in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work consists of the Final Settling Tanks 1 through 16 Polymer Feed System. Please be aware that bids do not have to be delivered in person and may be submitted by overnight delivery services so long as it is delivered at any time before the bid opening date and time. Bidders are not required to be present at the bid opening. Those bidders that wish to attend the bid opening must notify Dennis Oury at the BCUA the day before by email at doury@BCUA.org of its intention to attend the bid opening. Those bidders attending the bid opening may only be represented by one individual and said individual must bring his or her own personal protection equipment ("PPE") which must include mask and gloves. The results of the bid opening will be posted to the BCUA's electronically shortly after the bid opening. Bids must be submitted in sealed packages with the name "BCUA: Final Settling Tanks 1 through 16 Polymer Feed System" clearly marked on the outside of the package. Bid must include bid security in form of Bid Bond, cashier's Check or Certified Check payable to Owner amounting to 10% of the Lump Sum Price amount, but not to exceed $20,000.00. Additionally, a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company licensed for business in the State of New Jersey, shall be included with the Bid, and shall set forth that the Surety Company will provide the required Bonds in the amounts required by the Contract, in a form satisfactory to legal counsel and in compliance with relevant state statues and a Public Works Contractor Registration form according to the Public Work Contractor Registration Act (P.O. 1999, C238). The BCUA reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. No bids will be received after the time and date indicated. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty days, excluding Sundays and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 per cent Construction Performance Bond and a 100 per cent Construction Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. After final acceptance of the work a Maintenance Bond and an Environmental Maintenance Bond shall be provided for the amounts and times specified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and waive Bid informalities as permitted by New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law (NJSA 40A:11-1 et seq).
