Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Chatom, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and one-story above grade medical facility.
Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood Inc. A bid bond payable to WASHINGTON COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid amount, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and insurance in compliance with requirements, will be required at the signing of the Contract. Per the Owner, the project will be exempt from sales and use taxes. If awarded the bid, both the tax exempt entity and the contractor shall agree upon the process and certificates required to administer this exemption. Items eligible for exemption are building materials, construction materials and supplies and other tangibles that become part of the structure. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical errors and/or abandon the prequalification and bid process if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
