Renovation of a residential development in Troy, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Proposals shall be submitted on forms included in the specifications or copies thereof and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Troy Housing Authority. If plans and specifications are not returned or if a bona fide bid is not submitted, the deposit will not be refunded. Subcontractors and material suppliers may obtain whole or partial sets of plans and specifications by paying the cost of reproduction and mailing. Refunds will not be made on such sets. All bidders must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama 1975. Licensing required by local municipalities shall be obtained prior to the execution of construction contract. Bidders must include with their bid a Non-Collusive Affidavit and Previous Participation Certificate on the correct HUD forms and signed by the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the time and date set for bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
