**As of March 18, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work for which SOQs are requested is generally described as the construction of improvements to the existing headworks facility and a new 8.0 million gallon per day influent pump station. The Work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of labor, materials, equipment and installation for the construction of the following: 1. Existing headworks building improvements including new bypass channel, roof and doors 2. New screening and grit removal equipment in existing headworks building 3. New wetwell / drywell influent pump station with five submersible pumps in the drywell 4. Yard piping and manholes 5. Improvements to control systems and communications 6. Site work including grading, drainage and gravel paving 7. Backup generator for emergency power 8. Excavation, shoring, dewatering, backfill, reinforced cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, mechanical systems, electrical systems, instrumentation and control work 9. Dewatering is anticipated to be 6,000 to 9,000 gallons per minute 10. Appurtenance work The work has an anticipated construction cost of $5.0 million to $7.0 million. The project is being funded through the Colorado SRF Loan program. As such, it is a federally funded project and the construction contract will require the Contractor to meet federal requirements including compliance related to labor, materials, and reporting on the project.
