The general scope of work includes providing sustainable, multi-mobile transportation improvements along with utility under grounding along 6th Street all within the Pueblo Viejo Downtown are in the City of Coachella. The proposed work includes both roadway narrowing and widening,construction of curb,curb/gutter,sidewalk,bike way,driveway approaches and driveways, asphalt pavement with base,cold milling and overlay,street signing and striping,bike lane striping,parkway landscaping and irrigation,street scape with lighting and other amenities, shade structures, and under grounding of existing overhead utility facilities. The full project shall be completed within 120 Working Days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.All gradinq, pavinq, underqround utilities, conduits, curbs, qutters, spandrels,access frames, sidewalks, street liqht footinqs, and sleeving, on Mario Lazcano Way shall be completed within 60 Working Days after the commencement date listed on the Noticeto Proceed in order to be able to seen the road to the residents, public, and emerqency services. Landscape,liqhtinq installations, and wall construction can occur afterwards.provided the area is maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times.Time for the commencement and completion of the work is important and is to be of the essence of the Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent(100%)of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth here in,shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bond in requirements,as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer.
