Harris County is soliciting bids for construction of a storm water quality retention basin within John Paul Landing Park for Precinct 3. Work shall begin on the date fixed on the Notice to Proceed. The Work will be completed and ready for Final Payment in accordance with paragraph 6.5 of the General Conditions within 400 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. The Contractor specially binds and obligates himself to pay such damages to the County on demand, or at its option, the County may withhold the amount thereof from any sums due the Contractor under this Contract.
