Renovation of an educational facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work includes (but is not limited to) the following: Selective demolition, carpentry work, new furniture walls (provided by KI), new electrical outlets & data ports, new flooring finishes and millwork. Plumbing, HVAC Work, painting, specialties work, furnishings and equipment Work. Electrical Power, Lighting, Security and Telecommunication. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project at the scheduled time of receipt of bids and will be publicly opened and read out aloud. Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after the submission without the consent of the Board of Trustees. The bidding documents shall be on file at the office of RATIO Architects, Inc., 30 West Monroe Street Suite 500, Chicago Illinois 60603. Additional digital copies of the construction documents shall also be available on CD from the printer at the cost of production to the printer upon deposit and pickup of a hard copy set of the construction documents. Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College.
