Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tualatin, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of December 18, 2020. Project has not been awarded. Bid Results will be available tomorrow. The First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form will be received at the location given for the receipt of the bid until 4:00 pm (local time), December 15, 2020. Instructions for providing the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure and the required disclosure form are included in the Contract Documents. The disclosure form shall be submitted no later than two working hours, including lunch hours, after the Bid Closing. The City Will Reject a Bid if the Bidder Fails to Submit the Disclosure Form With This Information by the Stated Deadline. Major items of work consist of: Decommission and demolition of existing fountain and infrastructure; installation of new Vortex splash pad system with in-ground nozzles, Dome Pack water quality management system, water storage/balance tank and all related plumbing and electrical installation; supporting sanitary and storm sewer modifications; public sidewalk replacement; colored concrete paving; brick paving salvage and re-installation; planting and irrigation; and site furnishing salvage and re-installation. Items Furnished by Owner for Installation by Contractor include Splashpad Products manufactured by Vortex USA, Inc. as identified in the product lists included in the drawings prepared by Vortex within the Bid Documents (Owner Furnished Materials/Equipment Supplied by Owner). The Contractor shall begin Work within 30 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. Once the Contractor has commenced Work, the Contractor shall reach Substantial Completion of all work in this project by 130 calendar days and Final Completion by 150 calendar days. No proposal for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the City unless the firm is registered with the Construction Contractors Board or is licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board, as applicable, as specified in OAR 137- 049-0230. Proposals must be made upon the Proposal form bound in the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by a certified check or proposal bond payable to the City of Tualatin (County of Washington, State of Oregon) in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The City of Tualatin reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Bids cannot be withdrawn within thirty days (30) after the Bid Closing. The City reserves the right to make changes to the Invitation to Bid and the Contract Documents by written addenda prior to the Bid Closing.
