The work contemplated will include: Base bid shall include the installation of approximately 160 linear feet of 3-inch PVC piping, underground meter vault, above ground reduced pressure assembly (RPA), and all associated appurtenances. Meter shall be provided and set by the City of Durham. Trenchless road crossing of an additional 100 linear feet of pipe under NC-55 shall be done by one of two methods, either jack and bore, or a dry bore directional drill. These two options shall be bid as alternates to be added to the base bid.
