City of Santa Ana (City) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to furnish labor, equipment and materials for services including, but not limited to, remove and replace the roof on the Concession / Cafe Building and Ticket Sales Building, at the Santa Ana Zoo. I. Cafe Area - 2850 SF (Contractor to verify) 1. Remove all existing debris from roof and dispose of at contractor's expense. 2. Prep roof field for system installation. 3. Install GAF 50mil Fleeceback System, per manufacturer specifications; includes all roofing-related details. 4. Remove existing coping. 5. Replace all conductor heads and downspout to match existing. 6. Replace all wood blocking with new DuraBlok blocking and install new hardware. 7. Install new 24 gauge bonderized metal coping. 8. Raise all vent curbs, duct curbs, pipe penetrations, and flashings as needed to reach a minimum 8 inches of height above finished roof surface. 9. All appurtenant finish and tie-in work should be performed in a thorough and professional manner. II. Ticket Sales Area - 350 SF (Contractor to verify) 1. Tear-off one existing layer of roof down to the deck. 2. Thoroughly inspect the plywood deck for any dry rot or deterioration damage. 3. If necessary, replace plywood. 4. Once roof field is prepped for system installation, install 1/4 " Securock, mechanically attached, to roof field 5. Install GAF 50mil Single-ply System, per manufacturer specifications; includes all roofing-related details. 6.
