As of 1/18/2021 the awarded design build team is CORE Construction + Perlman Architects. Anticipated Start Date is May 2021. The City of Sierra Vista, (hereinafter referred to as City) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from Design-Build Firms, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes Title 34, for the design, construction operation and maintenance of theCity of Sierra Vista Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Substation Schematic Design and Design/Build Contract Procurement. A two-step selection process will be utilized. This project is being funded by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment, award number CIP-1279-20-01, and is subject to the provisions of 2 CFR 200 with the exception of Davis Bacon Wages. This project is EXEMPT from Davis Bacon Wages The City invites interested firms to submit written Statements of Qualifications relating to this project. A Selection Committee will then evaluate the firms' qualifications and experience with similar projects (Step 1). The City will select up to THREE (3) Offerors from those submitting Statements of Qualifications for Interviews (Step 2). The City will enter negotiations/award phase with top ranked Offeror as determined by Step 2. A construction schedule will be negotiated with the top ranked Offeror. The City of Sierra Vista reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine, and to waive or not to waive any informalities in any submittal. All information regarding the content of the specific submittals will remain confidential until a contract is finalized, or all submittals are rejected Site improvements will also include approximately 46,000 square feet of paved parking and driveway area, security fencing, paved drainage swale, retention pond, rip rap, and a communication tower necessary to provide emergency communication to the facility.
