Renovation of a medical facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The main objective of the project is to replace aging equipment booms and to upgrade existing infrastructure for the two projects identified above. Feasibility study was completed in 2019 by a multidiscipline team. The followings describe the project scope in further details: Disconnect and remove existing ceiling mounted equipment booms Disconnect and remove existing ceiling suspended medical columns Add/replace steel support structure above ceiling for new equipment booms Install vendor supplied mounting plates for new equipment booms Replace fixed-in-place millwork with stainless countertop, base, and upper cabinets. Construct new bulkheads where required for upper cabinets to meet infection control standard. Add/update electrical distribution infrastructure supporting OR2 and OR8. Add grounding connections to UPS panels. Replace electrical and network cables and conduits servicing the suite Add electrical and network cables and conduits for vendor supplied equipment; video signal cables supplied by vendor Modify existing medical gas infrastructure within the suite to fit new equipment, and upgrade medical gas control. Install vendor supplied cabinet for integration system Repair floor evenness and replace flooring finish with cove base Replace flooring finish with cove base in scrub sink area adjacent to suite Provide wall protection within the suite Equipment booms will be mounted and terminated by vendor Update network cable trays for additional cables. The Project's Approved Construction Budget is estimated at an order of magnitude of $730,000 dollars for OR2 and $730,000 for OR8, which includes value added taxes, sub-trades permits, Construction Management fee, Construction Management Reimbursable Expenses (per Appendix D), but excludes ceiling mounted equipment boom.
