Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed improvement consists of earth excavation, seeding, aggregate surface course, concrete structures, concrete box culvert or pipe culvert, traffic control, and all necessary adjustments, incidentals and appurtenances at locations shown in the plans. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All work shall be in compliance with specifications and all state and federal laws and regulations. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the IllinoisPrevailingWageAct is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
