The work includes approximately 2,416 linear feet of 12-inch (12") cured in place pipe ("CIPP") sanitary sewer rehabilitation, approximately 2,447 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer dig and replace point repair, approximately 817 linear feet of 10-inch (10") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation, approximately 1,949 linear feet of 8-inch (8") CIPP sanitary sewer rehabilitation, approximately 715 linear feet of 8-inch (8") sanitary sewer dig and replace point repair, approximately 20 sanitary sewer manhole replacements, rehabilitation of approximately 27 sanitary sewer manholes, and approximately 1 new manhole installation. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina, and duly licensed for the appropriate section of Bid. A five percent (5%) Bid Security must accompany each Bid. Each Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bids and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Contract is contingent upon release of funds from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Water Infrastructure. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation to Bid are expected to be funded by a loan from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Water Infrastructure. Neither the State of North Carolina nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are to be a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting contracts. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 days from the date bids are opened.
