The 7 tanks are located at 4 separate sites. The Bee Canyon and Cunningham Tanks are located in the east Hemet area and the Tank Farm and Goldshot Tanks are located in Garner Valley area. All sites are located in the unincorporated area of Riverside County. The Work includes the preparation and recoating of all interior surfaces of the District's Bee Canyon, Cunningham, Tank Farm and Goldshot Tanks in accordance with these specifications. The Bee Canyon Tank is a 500,000 gallon (nominal capacity) welded steel tank (24' tall x 29.83' diameter). The Cunningham Tank is a 120,000 gallon (nominal capacity) bolted steel tank (24' tall x 60' diameter). The Tank Farm includes 4 separate tanks, all 4 of which are 22,000 gallon (nominal capacity) bolted steel tanks with the same dimensions (8' tall x 21.66' diameter). The Goldshot Tank is a 300,000 gallon (nominal capacity) welded steel tank (24' tall x 47' diameter). Areas to be coated shall include all interior surfaces, including but not limited to, shell, roof plates, rafters, framing, columns, reinforcing, ladder, floor, piping, and access manholes. District staff will drain the tank down to the floor via an existing floor drain. The Contractor shall be responsible for draining the remaining residual water, drying and cleaning.District may also perform minor repairs to corroded parts ofthe shell, ladder, and other components. Contractor must accommodate District stafffor a maximum of 3 working days including providing use of contractor's scaffolding or lifts and ventilation.
