The purpose of this RFQu-JOC is to provide a common understanding of the professional services required for this Job Order Contract. Contractor's capable of providing such services for YC, including but not limited to services for each of the six campuses and cooperating entities within the designated regions of the state. YC invites Contractors with experience at higher education institutions, Job Order Contract experience and design construction experience, as well as general engineering experience to submit interest and qualifications for selection consideration. This RFQu-JOC outlines the basic requirements for the Job Order Contracting construction services. Following the RFQuJOC process an RFP will be released to the Finalists. The intent of the below Scope of Work outline is to provide interested Contractors a common understanding of the scope of professional services required for the projects by YC. Below is a summary of the work to be performed by the awarded Contractor(s), following the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Bid Security is will be required for the upcoming RFP as qualified from this RFQu-JOC in the amount of $5,000.00. The successful Bidder will be required to submit all appropriate bonds for any resulting contract(s). The contract period will be a three (3) year term subject to two (2) additional one (1) year terms, upon mutual agreement. YC reserves the right to add services, reduce scope of work, or conduct work in phases during the contract period under the same terms and conditions of this agreement. Additional services may be included in the future under the same contract. The College reserves the right to waive any formalities and/or to reject any or all proposals and/or cancel this RFQu-JOC at any time. Any contract award under this RFQu-JOC shall be made because it serves the best interest of the College. No contract award shall exist until an SOQ and acceptance has been executed in writing. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
