Work under this contract includes: The proposed improvements for Phase 1 include: Existing tree removal and protection, clearing and grubbing, demolition and removal of portions of the existing sidewalk and existing concrete drainage scuppers, site grading and new drainage improvements, sidewalk and hardscape improvements, landscape and turf planting, new automatic reclaimed water irrigation system with booster pump, new custom airport-themed playground, fitness equipment and play surfacing, picnic ramada, entry structure, sports court, site lighting improvements, electrical connections for power service, a new bottle filler with chiller and associated water service connection, and site amenities. The new turf and landscape areas will be irrigated with reclaimed water from an existing 8" reclaimed water line located in McQueen Road. Work must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Pre-Submittal Meeting: None Questions Due: December 7, 2020 - 5:00 p.m. local Arizona time Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the City of Chandler, Arizona, or a certified or cashier's check. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Chandler.
