As of December 14,2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Atlanta, Illinois is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for the construction of approximately 2,270 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC water main, 132 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer, and 70 feet of 6-inch diameter PVC water service, and service reconnections. This work includes all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment and services necessary and required to furnish and install a water main around the Olympia South Elementary School. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of City of Atlanta, Illinois, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid for the Divisions bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Bids will be held good for a period of forty (40) days subsequent to the opening of Bids.
