QA change to Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST Radnor Township is soliciting bids for the installation of an 18" HDPE Pipe, 18" RCP, Inlets, Pavement Restoration, Lawn Restoration, and other associated work at 936-940 Wootton Road. All questions regarding the bid must be submitted using the online form on electronically. QA date Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required. Bid security shall be in the form of either a Bond issued by a corporate surety approved by the Secretary of Insurance to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a certified check or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful bidder must supply a performance bond and a payment bond from firm(s) qualified to issue bonds in Pennsylvania, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount for the term of the award within ten (10) days of the bid award. A separate maintenance bond in an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the final contract price, including all extra work, will be submitted upon completion of all work along with the Contractor's Release and the request for final payment. The maintenance bond is to continue for a period of one (1) year after the date of written completion, approval and acceptance of the entire work by the Township. This is a prevailing wage project. In the event of a delay to the project completion terms as per the Schedule for which Contractor is solely responsible, Contractor shall pay Liquidated Damages to Radnor Township at a rate of $880 per day of delay for every day beyond the 90 days for allowed for project completion. The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township.
