Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

AS of 02/01/2021 No start and end date. As of January 7 2021 this project has no awarded bidder. The work includes the following: 1. Rehabilitation of the existing steel filter with air scour backwash system to include: (a) Replacing existing filter media, (b) Replacing existing underdrain system header and lateral underdrain system embedded in concrete, (c) Sandblast and paint interior of steel filters, (d) Replace existing spray aeration nozzles, (e) Replace existing supply and exhaust aeration ducts, (f) Miscellaneous piping revisions. 2. Chemical feed improvements. 3. Backwash waste and regeneration waste pump replacements. 4. Miscellaneous electrical and HVAC improvements. All work under the Contract must be complete within 190 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Bidder shall have experience as a General Contractor in the successful completion of at least three municipal water or wastewater treatment plants within the last five (5) years. A bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Forest Lake shall accompany each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of the Contract. The Bid, Agreement, and Bonds shall be conditioned upon compliance with all provisions of the Bid Documents. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer/Manager for the project.
