As of May 14, 2021, the project has been awarded to MCE Dirtworks for $336,328.05. 2020 Roadway Improvements to Wheeler Road No pre-bid conference for this project The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform various roadway improvements on Wheeler Road located in the village of Marstons Mills in the Town of Barnstable, MA. The intent of the project is to improve rainage on the roadway, reclaim the existing pavement and repave with new hot mix asphalt. All bidders questions are due by not later than 12:00 PM, December 3, 2020 Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Prevailing Wage Rates dated November 16, 2020 are applicable to this project Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) policies of the Town of Barnstable are applicable. The "Fair Share" construction requirement for this project is a minimum of 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation by state certified MBEs and WBEs.
