Houston County Commission will receive sealed proposals for the Replacement of the Chiller at the Houston County Jail. This project must start January 11, 2021 and must be completed within 30 days with the exception of rain or delays by the County. Final Completion shall be achieved not later than February 18, 2021 This is a generalized scope of work and does not cover all specifics of installation. An effort has been made to identify the work required to accomplish this task. However, not all work may be clearly identified as to the exact extent or nature. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to fulfill the intent of this work Contractor will remove existing Trane nominal 250-Ton, air-cooled chiller located on the south side of the building and will be by contractor either put on a low boy or left in the parking lot in a designated spot as directed by Houston County Maintenance Manager. Houston County will remove all concrete slabs. Provide all new mechanical valves, fittings, and accessories as indicated. Trane will supply the flow meters, differential pressure sensors, automatic control valves, actuators, and other control devices for the contractor to install. Houston County will Remove electrical disconnects, conductors for existing air-cooled chillers CH-1 CH-2 & Ch-3. Extend or intercept existing conduits and Provide new conduits and conductors as required for two new air-cooled chillers installed by mechanical contractor. Provide new conductors, and breakers if required for Chillers and pumps
