The City of Albany hereby requests Proposals from qualified entities to provide planning, landscape architecture, and engineering services to the City of Albany to make improvements to two Hudson River Waterfront Gateways. The project area is located at two main waterfront gateways: the intersections of Colonie Street and Quay Street and Broadway and Quay Street. The purpose of the improvements is to promote and enhance the connections between Downtown Albany, the Warehouse District, and the riverfront. Improving these gateways will provide riverfront visitors with clear direction to the riverfront and its many recreational assets from downtown Albany's many businesses, and tourist attractions.
