This project is included in the City of Henderson's Public Works fiscal year 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) As of November 22, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. Design and construct modifications to increase capacity from 1.22 to 2.98; replace the existing pump room, wet well and force main; and install odor control equipment improvements. The City is proposing to replace the existing Stephanie Lift Station by establishing a new lift station facility at an alternate undeveloped site and re-routing the existing dry and wet utilities (water, sewer, gas, and power). The Henderson Utility Guidelines (HUGs), dated 2010, the Southern Nevada Design and Construction Standards for Wastewater Collection Systems (DCSWCS), 4th Edition dated 2019, and the City of Henderson 1st Addendum to the Design and Construction Standards for Wastewater Collection Systems, 4th Edition dated May 2019, will be utilized as guidelines for the project design. The new lift station will be situated within a project site that will be delineated by a 130-ft x 100-ft enclosed boundary within Parcel S, APN:161-34-302-006, adjacent to the south side of the Pittman Channel, approximately 625 feet east of the N. Stephanie Street right-of-way. The new Stephanie Lift Station site will consist of a wet well/dry well lifting station, odor control related facilities, drive area, utilities, site perimeter security wall/fencing, and a one-story structure (approximately 258 SF) with a restroom and electrical/controls room sharing a common wall. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
