Curbside Renovations Package B for the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority. Airport Improvement Program Project. The work in this contract isincluded in an Airport Improvement Program project which is being under taken and accomplished by the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, in accordance with the terms and conditions of a grant agreement between the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority and the United States, under the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982 and Part 152 of the Federal Aviation Regulations(14 CFR Part 152), pursuant to which the United States has agreed to pay a certain percentage of the costs of the project that are determined to be allowable project costs under that Act. The United States is not a party to this contract and no reference in this contract to the FAA or any representative thereof, or to any rights granted to the FAA or any representative thereof, or the United States, by the contract, makes the United States a part to this contract. Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion or national origin in consideration for an award.
