Q & A deadline: Jan 06, 2021 3:00:00 PM EST The scope of work consists of the design and construction of an engineered building shell, exterior finishes, site grading, roof drains, utility service lines, electrical conduit, and any other work deemed necessary by the City of The Colony. The opinion of probable construction cost for the overall project is $215,000. All of the above shall be done in accordance with TxDOT and NCTCOG specifications with the City of the Colonys Addenda and as per instructions of the City of The Colony City Engineer. All construction sequencing and barricading will be done according to the City of The Colony Standards. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of amount bid from a Surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, within fifteen (15) days of the bid award. The bidder must submit, with the bid, a Cashier Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the amount bid. The winning bidder, upon City acceptance, will be required to provide the City with a minimum two (2) year maintenance bond. The maintenance bond shall be in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (10%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount.
