This work consists of the design, fabrication, and transportation of a simple span, welded steel, truss pedestrian bridge with a treated timber plank deck and pedestrian railing, in accordance with the specifications and plan details. The general sequence of work shall consist of: 1. Design the bridge. 2. Fabricate the bridge. 3. Additionally, safety improvements to sidewalks and streets north of the creek are planned to safely connect students from the north side of town to the south side of town, diverting them from busy, urban roads via the pedestrian bridge and connection.
