The City of San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD) is seeking vendor(s) to furnish and deliver water meter boxes. Water meter boxes are part of SBMWD's water distribution system. The materials selected have been chosen for their strength, durability and ease of maintenance. Contractor shall only provide new and unused water meter boxes and covers that are approved by SBMWD, as specified in Specification No. 1739 Other Details Bidder shall provide a minimum of three (3) references for similar services provided within the last three (3) years. References from a governmental agency are preferred. Bidder shall provide one (1) Meter Box #37 - 10K 12"x20"x12", one (1) Cover #37- 10k 12"x20"x1 3/4 ", one (1) Meter Box #65 10k 17"x28"x12", and one (1) Cover #65 10k 17"x28"x1 3/4 " to SBMWD for inspection/testing. These boxes will be inspected and graded as follows: poor, good, best. The basis of these ratings includes, but is not limited to, skip pattern, smoothness, internal space, quality/appearance, Installation instructions for both improved and unimproved areas, weight, and ease of handling. Each bidder shall contact Ms. Sydney Morrison, Contracts Administrator to schedule delivery of the sample boxes and covers prior to the bid deadline date. Ms. Morrison can be reached at (909)384-5393. The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid. The Department will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp form the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. Bidders .
