Renovation of a water / sewer project in Manchester, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of 8/13/2021 project was not awarded. No estimated time frame yet on if/when it will rebid. The Town of Manchester, Connecticut ("Town") is seeking a sealed proposal from qualified Design-Build Contractors ("Contractor") to provide professional design and construction services for a building addition and upgrade of the New State Road Water Treatment Facility. The Town is proposing to replace the existing chlorine gas treatment system at the New State Road Wellfield with liquid sodium hypochlorite as the primary disinfection agent. Work includes the construction of a building addition including partial demolition of the existing wall, installation of sodium hypochlorite tanks, pumps, piping and accessories, instrumentation and controls, minor site work and demolition and removal of the existing chlorine gas system. It also includes the design and installation of a temporary treatment system to maintain operations for the duration of the project. Includes SBE/MBE Requirements NO Qualified Partnership NO
