Sewerage system rehabilitation including smoke testing approximately 52,200 linear feet of 8-inch and larger sewer lines, cleaning and video inspecting approximately 12,100 linear feet of 8-inch and larger sewer lines, open-cut replacement approximately 510 linear feet of 8-inch sewer lines, pipe bursting of approximately 1,180 linear feet of 8-inch sewer lines and cured-in-place lining of approximately 1,900 linear feet of 8-inc gravity sewer lines. Work also includes post-televising, point repairs, pavement repair, lateral inspection, lateral lining, manhole construction and rehabilitation, bypass pumping and appurtenances. Time of construction is 180 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 210 days for final completion. Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. Upon receipt of all documents in undamaged condition within thirty (30) days after the date of opening of bids, one-half of the deposit will be refunded. The difference between the deposit and the amount refunded represents the cost of reproduction. No refund will be made for documents received after thirty (30) days or in damaged condition. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
