This project has been awarded to SRV Construction Inc. in the amount of $684,911. Mailed bids will be time stamped upon delivery to City Hall, by the Clerks Office, and held by the Clerk until the bid opening. If you are dropping off bids in person on the 10th, please review the following information. 1.Deliver your bid to the receptionist at the front counter. 2.Return to your vehicle and join the GoToMeeting (phone number and access code provided below), so that you can call in and listen to the bid opening. 3.The Clerks office will post the total bid amounts on the front door, after the bid opening has been completed, or you can contact the City Clerks office at cityclerk@marysvillewa.gov for information. Please note that there may be a bit of a delay between the close of bid packet acceptance (10:00 AM on the 10th) and the start of the GoToMeeting for the bid opening. The work to be performed under the City of Marysvilles 8th Street Improvements project shall include 1825 Tons of HMA, a 2-inch asphalt overlay, pavement repair, planing bituminous pavement, sidewalk ramp replacement to meet ADA standards, utility adjustment, channelization, storm sewer, restoration, traffic signal modifications and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of forty-five (45) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The Engineers Estimate for this project is $739,767.00
