The project includes the construction of a new, single-story liquor store of approximately 21,380 square feet with site work for this project. The expected date of award of the BP 2 contract is scheduled for December 21, 2020, with commencement of construction to start February 15, 2021. Concrete & Masonry, Structural Steel Erection, Carpentry/Doors/Casework/Specialties, Waterproofing, Siding, Roofing & Sheet Metal, Storefront & Glazing, Drywall & Painting, Signage, Flooring & Tile, Acoustical Ceiling Tile, Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (Walk-in Cooler Equipment), Fire Protection, Plumbing & HVAC, Electrical, Earthwork, Asphalt/Paving, Site Concrete/Curb & Gutter, Landscape/Irrigation & Utilities. A. Lakeville Liquors South project involves the new construction of a single-story municipal liquor sales building. B. There will be site construction work for this project on a total site of approximately 196,549 square feet (4.5 acres). C. The liquor store proper site is 113,942 square feet (2.6 acres) 1. The site construction work includes paved parking for 103 parking spaces on approximately 22,000 square feet. 2. Construction work shall include site clearing work, site utility work and rough grading work. 3. The work for the various site construction portions of the project shall include the provision, installation and all equipment, labor, materials, permits, fees and incidentals necessary to provide the complete Work for the appropriate portions of the project summarized as follows. Without modifying or influencing the Contract Documents, the Summary of the Site Construction Work of the project is as follows: a. Site soils construction work including site clearing, earthwork including excavation and fill, stockpiling of usable sub-soils, site restoration, rough grading and finish grading. b. Site construction work including bituminous paving, concrete paving, concrete curb, gutter and walks, site utility work, installation of light pole fixtures, sod and landscape work. D. The building proper construction work will involve construction of a one-story Liquor Store of approximately 17,188 square feet of floor area, plus an alternate classroom addition of 2,853 square feet of floor area. 1. The work for the various building construction portions of the project shall include the provision, installation and all equipment, labor, materials, permits, fees and incidentals necessary to provide the complete Work for the appropriate portions of the project summarized as follows. Without modifying or influencing the Contract Documents, the Summary of the Building Construction Work of the project includes the following: a. Building construction work including concrete footings, concrete slabs, masonry foundation walls, metal stud partitions and walls, open web steel joists, steel column and beam structural system, and metal roof deck system. b. Building interior finish work including painted gypsum board drywall on metal stud framed walls, porcelain tile floors, ceramic tile walls, vinyl wall covering, acoustic tile ceilings, smooth-finished gypsum board ceilings, resilient tile flooring, carpeting and other building interior finish work as indicated on the Drawings. c. Exterior finish work including face brick veneer and stone veneer walls, exterior insulation finish system finishes, architectural precast concrete sills, pre-finished sheet metal flashing, and ballasted or built-up membrane roofing system. d. Building opening construction work including installation of aluminum windows, aluminum entrances, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, sectional overhead vehicular doors, door hardware and other building opening construction items as indicated on the Drawings. e. Special items include fire extinguishers, exterior building signage, toilet accessories, and floor mats. f. Mechanical work for this building shall include production and installation of mechanical systems including fire protection systems, plumbing system, heating and ventilating systems and temperature control systems. g. Electrical work for this building shall include production and installation of electrical systems involving electrical service, lighting, site lighting, power, life safety and fire alarm systems.
