The project consists of a structural seismic upgrade with re&re of mechanical, electrical, envelope, and fire suppression to the existing Howard DeBeck Elementary School located in Richmond, BC. The construction will occur in an occupied teaching environment with upgrades being phased and utilizing four temporary portable classrooms for swing space. The main focus of the structural upgrade is to connect the foundations to the roof diaphragms for improved performance in a seismic event.
