Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in New Ulm, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

A. 20th Street Lift Station 1. Remove four (4) existing centrifugal pumps. 2. Furnish and Install four (4) new dry pit submersible pumps. 3. Remove and replace process piping and valves. 4. Install new VFDs and electrical and controls for new pumps. 5. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans. B. Primary Pumps 1. Remove two (2) existing primary pumps. 2. Furnish and install (2) new rotary lobe pumps and grinders. 3. Remove and replace process piping and valves. 4. Install new electrical and controls. 5. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans. C. Thickened Sludge Pumps 1. Remove two (2) existing thickened sludge pumps. 2. Furnish and install (2) new rotary lobe pumps. 3. Remove and replace process piping and valves. 4. Remove existing equipment, piping and valves as noted. 5. Install new VFDs for the pumps and miscellaneous electrical and controls. 6. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans. D. Aeration Basin Diffuser Replacement 1. Remove and replace all membrane diffusers in the existing aeration basins. 2. Dispose of all used diffuser membranes. 3. Other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans. The work included in the project shall include the furnishing of all required labor and materials for a complete and operable electrical system as indicated on the accompanying drawings and as required by the project manual inclusive of all appurtenances not specifically shown or covered by the specifications but required for complete operation of the electrical system as defined in the documents. The work shall also include the testing, adjustment, start-up and troubleshooting of the electrical equipment and the training of the Owner's operating personnel in its operation and maintenance. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to furnish a complete and fully operating system. The Contractor shall be responsible for all details which may be necessary to properly install, adjust and place in operation the complete installation. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for additional costs which may result from unauthorized deviations from the contract documents.
