As of February 22 2021 project was not yet been awarded. Two contracts are in the process of being awarded. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission ("SFPUC") is issuing this Request for Quotes for fence replacement and repair fence damaged by the SCU Lightening Fires (August-September 2020). The SCU Lightening Fires burned existing fences in the Sunol Watershed located in Alameda and Santa Clara Counties of California. The SFPUC issued an emergency declaration and is procuring services in accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 6 Section 6.60, Emergency Repairs, Work and Contracts. The SFPUC reserves the right to award up to two contracts based on the quotes. The SFPUC will select the Contractors based on the aggregate unit price for linear foot of fencing. Two contracts may be awarded to the Responsible Contractors whose Responsive Quote provides the best value to the City. SFPUC reserves the right to reject and re-quote. The unit prices submitted at time of quote will be used to create a lump sum task order for the segments of fence assigned to the Contractor. Contractors shall provide a list of fence installations, including fence type, length of installation, location of installation and contact information for the installation to verify the installation. Contractors or their subcontractors must demonstrate a minimum of 50 miles of rangeland fence installation in the last 5 years with at least 10 miles of fence in rugged terrain similar to the terrain in the Sunol Watershed.
