The City of Bellaire is requesting bids for the Booster Pump Replacement Project. The project is located at the City's Renwick and Central water plants, and generally includes the replacement of six (6) existing potable water booster pumps and motors at the City of Bellaire's Central Water Plant and Renwick Water Plant. Each bidder is required to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Bellaire, or bid bond from a reliable surety company, payable without recourse, to the order of the City of Bellaire, in an amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds within 10 days after notice of award of the contract to him. The City of Bellaire reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities, and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous to it. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the City of Bellaire, Texas, and its respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. The construction covered by the contract documents shall be fully completed within 120 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Bellaire to the successful bidder.
