As of July 24, 2025, a general contractor has been selected. All subcontract trades have been let and set. Construction is anticipated to begin August 2025 and complete around August 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Design Services and Construction Related Consultant Services for Clearwater Intermodal Center The need to improve or replace the Park Street Terminal has been a documented need for more than a decade. The construction of the Clearwater Intermodal Center is a critical project that will provide the needed capacity to accommodate existing transit services while allowing the fleet to expand to accommodate local and regional travel demand in one of the most popular tourist markets in Florida. The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit firms qualified in performing professional Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Design Services and Construction Related Services for the proposed Clearwater Intermodal Center . FIRM OFFER PERIOD: Offers shall remain firm for a period of 180 calendar days The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
