Renovation of an educational facility in Dixon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The proposed work for which Sauk Valley Community College is soliciting bids consists of, but is not limited to, the following: The complete removal of an existing monument sign and the construction and installation of a new monument sign with an electronic message center. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Sauk Valley Community College, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. Sauk Valley Community College is an equal opportunity employer. This project has a goal of twenty percent (20%) of the contract awarded for minority/female/persons with disabilities business participation as first and second tier subcontractors or suppliers, and as the prime contractor, in accord with the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act (30 ILCS 575). Sauk Valley Community College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Contractor to submit signed contract and insurance and performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days of Notice of Award = February 5, 2021.
