No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid payable to Dickinson Township Municipal Authority. All Bid Bonds must be accompanied by a Power of Attorney or suitable letter of commitment from a licensed surety company as described in the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Prevailing Wages : Attention is called to the fact that payment of Pennsylvania prevailing wages will be required have been included in the documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or portion thereof, and to waive any informalities and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Authority. The project site is located in Dickinson Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. From the Exit 44 Interchange of I-81 turn south onto Route 465 (Allen Road) towards Mooredale, within 1/2 mile turn west (right) onto Alexander Spring Road. The project site is approximately 1/2 mile on Alexander Spring Road, the property addresses include 651, 653, 656, and 657 Alexander Spring Road. Without intending to limit or restrict the volume of Work required, the project includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Construction of a 12" water main and ancillary equipment, installation of new services including new meter pit setters. 2. Water main testing and disinfecting. 3. Soil erosion control. 4. Private right-of-way restoration. 5. Roadway restoration. 6. Preparation of record drawings for completed project area.
